The Escondido PTA is a group of parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff who work together to support our kids and our school. We help create programs, fund learning opportunities, and build a strong sense of community for every family at Escondido.
Joining the PTA is an easy way to stay connected and make a difference. You do not need a lot of time to be involved. Every family is welcome, and every contribution matters. We would love to see you at a PTA meeting. Meetings are friendly and open to all, and they are a great way to learn what’s happening at school and meet other parents.

What does the Escondido PTA do?
The PTA provides vital volunteer and financial resources to the school. Our contributions directly support programs that offer expanded learning opportunities, build community, and ensure every student has the materials they need!
At Escondido, our PTA provides:
- Field trips for every classroom.
- Hands-on science lessons with the Palo Alto Junior Museum.
- Events to bring our community together (Multicultural Fair, Science Night, Talent Show, Black History Month, Dia de los Muertos, Lunar New Year Celebration, Book Fair, and more…)
- Classroom materials for all students (no need to go shopping — we buy it all!)
- Grants to every teacher to enhance classrooms.
- Expansion of the school’s library collection.
- Teacher Appreciation, Yearbooks, Recess Equipment, and More…
